Dew point transmitters for compressed air and process gases
The SDT-Ex is an intrinsically safe dew point transmitter, developed for the continuous measurement of trace moisture in dry compressed air and process gases. It is particularly suitable for applications in the petrochemical and hydrogen industries. The transmitter works with 4-20 mA grinding operations and is certified according to ATEX and IECEx standards. It offers various output options, including °C dew point, °F dew point and ppm. The device is robust, weatherproof (IP66 NEMA 4X) and comes with a calibration certificate.
The SDT-Ex has advanced electronics and draws its current from a non-insulated 7-28 V DC power source. Configurable for output a linear, isolated 4-20 mA signal. This intrinsically safe dew point transmitter does not suffer signal loss if it is set up to 1,000 metres away from the display.
Using the SHAW moisture sensor technology with extremely high capacity, various dew point ranges are available, covering a total dew point range from -100 °C to +20 °C (-148 °F to +68 °F). The 4-20mA output can be configured for display in °C dew point, °F dew point, ppm(V), g/m3 and lb/MMSCF.
Fully housed in a robust housing to provide weatherproof protection according to IP66 NEMA 4X. The intrinsically safe dew point transmitter SDT-Ex is supplied ready for use with a calibration certificate traceable to national and international humidity standards, a user manual and a two-metre-long cable.
